End-to-End for wide expanses of glass
Affordable Protection Our regular Patio Door installation kits can be placed end-to-end (side-by-side) to enable proprietors to cover very long expanses of glass windows and doors.
Each Patio/French Door Install Kit + 2 Plywood Panels + Fasteners
$149.00 + $25.00 (approx.) + $8.00 Approximate cost of Kit, plywood, & fasteners, per each 6' Panel Installation Kit = $ 179
This Unique low-cost patent pending system provides a method of installing two properly sized sheets of plywood or corrugated plastic as protection for shopping mall type windows and doors. The top edge of each panel is inserted into and maintained by the Panel Channel® mounted above the doors. The lower edge of each panel is then pushed forward and up the beveled edge of the Kick-Up™ and onto the supporting surface of the Kick Up™ Base Plate. The design of the system allows for the panels to be securely fastened to the Kick Up™ Base Plate system, then removed following the storm. This system eliminates the near impossible task of lifting large, heavy, unweildly storm panels into base channels or other securing devices, especially following the winds associated with Hurricane Alerts or Warnings.
6' (72") Patio / French Door Install Kit
The Patio Door Hurricane Panel Kick-Up™ Kit includes one 6' above-the-door Panel Channel®, one 6' Kick-Up™ Base Plate for non-permanent securing to a wood or concrete deck (indicate your choice below), Base Plate Fasteners, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. |
