Patented Patio Door Kit for Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Hurricane Panel Protection on glass doors up to 6' (72 inches) wide.

The Patio Door Hurricane Panel Kick-Up™ Kit includes one 6' above-the-door Panel Channel®, one 6' Kick-Up™ Base Plate for non-permanent securing to a wood or concrete deck (indicate your choice below), Base Plate Fasteners, and illustrated step-by-step instructions.

This Unique low-cost patented system provides a method of installing two properly sized sheets of plywood or corrugated plastic, as protection for sliding glass Patio Doors, French Doors, or glass panel doors. The top of a panel is inserted into the top Panel Channel® above the doors. The bottom of a panel is pushed or kicked up the beveled edge of the Base Plate and onto the support surface of the "Kick Up"™ Base Plate. The Base Plate provides Vertical Risers for securing the hurricane panels to the Kick Up™ Base Plate. The Base Plate is removed following the storm. This system eliminates the near impossible task of lifting and fitting large, heavy, unweildly storm panels into slots or other securing devices, especially during storm conditions associated with Hurricane Watches or Warnings.
