"How To Install" the window hurricane panel "Front Loading" Push-In Protection Kit:

1.  Install Top "Upper" Panel Channel® (labeled "Top Channel") above the window opening to be protected.  (Detailed Step-by-Step instructions are included in all kits and are available for download on this website)    

2.  Install the "Lower Open Channel" Panel Channel® (labeled "Lower Open Channel") directly below the the window opening to be protected and the installed "Upper" track.    

3.  Purchase, size, and waterproof the hurricane panel to be installed over the window opening.  Use a circular saw to cut "peep holes" if desired.   

4.  Insert the top edge of the selected hurricane panel into the track (channel) of the installed top Panel Channel® and  center the hurricane panel in front of the window opening to be protected.    

5.  Push the hurricane panel toward the window opening until the lower edge comes in contact with the open lower Panel Channel®.  If necessary, lift the hurricane panel up onto the lower supporting track.    

6.  Holes are provided in the lower track with the correct angle to secure the hurricane panel to the lower supporting hurricane panel track.  The included brass colored screws are designed and sized to secure the hurricane panel securely.  The furnished screws will accept "Square", "Phillips", or "Combo" driver bits. "Your Window Hurricane Panel Is Now Installed"

•   Order the Double Window Panel Channels® Kit

•   Purchase two (2) - 5/8 (19/32) CDX Sized Plywood Panels 

•   Purchase recommended fasteners for the structure

•   Install Panel Channels® Kit according to instructions

•   Slide waterproofed or painted panels between channels

•   Secure Panels to Panel Channels® as instructed
